The HATS² (Highly Accelerated Thermal Shock) 2 Test System is designed for convection reflow assembly simulation and for the reliability and robustness evaluation of PCB and substrate via structures and PTHs. This advanced system enables precise simulation of convection reflow assembly processes while assessing the structural robustness of critical interconnections.

The technology supports real-time resistance monitoring, rapid temperature cycling between -65°C and +265°C, and the capability to perform up to 1000 thermal shock cycles per week. These features allow efficient and controlled thermal shock testing within demanding evaluation environments. Robustness testing focuses on ensuring that electronic assemblies continue to operate reliably beyond laboratory conditions and under real-world stresses.
