AMI D9650Z
D9650Z is the first acoustic microscope designed with an inverted transducer, allowing samples to be scanned from the bottom side.
The D9650Z integrates the latest C-SAM technology and includes advanced capabilities to support Power Module testing alongside standard C-SAM applications. This system configuration is specifically optimized for inspecting heatsink bond integrity, measuring bond layer thickness, and evaluating wire bond welds.
Operated with the Sonolytics software platform featuring PolyGate technology, the D9650Z is well suited for failure analysis, process development, and QC screening in low-volume production environments.
• WaterPlume technology enables scanning from beneath the sample while keeping the sample surface dry.
• An integrated dryer removes residual water from samples before removal.
• Optional Digital Image Analysis (DIA) allows automatic accept/reject criteria to be defined.
• The Sonolytics2 interface operates on Windows® 10 Ultimate, supporting multi-language functionality and 64-bit capability.
• Precise scanning is achieved through a tower-mounted scan reference platform and dedicated sample fixture.
