ZESTRON RESIN TEST
The ZESTRON Resin Test provides a visual and temporary indication of the local distribution of resin-based residues on electronic assemblies through a colorimetric reaction. Critical resin residues may lead to poor adhesion of conformal coatings and potential delamination.
By using the Resin Test during production, residues can be localized and subsequently removed through an appropriate cleaning step. The test complements established analytical methods such as Ionic Contamination Measurement (detection of inorganic residues) and the ZESTRON Flux Test (detection of activators/acids).
