Press Fit | Pin and Connector Insertion

Advantages of Servo Presses in Press-Fit Applications

Connector types vary in height, requiring different insertion settings. The MODULO Press Fit system can be programmed according to the height of each connector, providing flexibility when working with multiple connector types.

Unlike servo presses, pneumatic presses require mechanical height adjustment or compensation, which can make the process more complex. When different connector types and heights are involved, a servo press becomes essential.

Controlled Force Insertion Modes

Connectors can be inserted using different controlled insertion modes. Servo presses feature a closed-loop force and distance measurement system, enabling controlled connector insertion.

The advanced Delta Force Mode can detect when the connector housing comes into contact with the PCB, ensuring correct insertion.

Seica Automation MODULO platforms, combined with performance-enhancing accessories, offer the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of customer requirements in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing.
