STDC Desolder Cartridge, ID=0.76 mm, 700 Series
STDC-Desolder Tip Cartridges are the standard desoldering tip range for the Metcal MX-500, MX-5200, and MX-5200 series desoldering systems. These cartridges are available in two temperature ranges: 700-series nominally 390 °C and 800-series nominally 450 °C. The temperature/series is designated by the first digit following the dash in the part number. For example, 700-series is STTC-1xx and 800-series is STTC-8xx.
The 700-series is recommended for the majority of applications, while the 800-series is designed for high-temperature and thermally demanding applications. They are compatible with both leaded and lead-free solder. SmartHeat® Technology automatically adjusts power levels during each operation.
