Conformal coating systems apply protective materials to selected areas of electronic assemblies. Automated equipment can follow programmed coating paths, helping manufacturers control coverage while keeping connectors, test points and other designated areas clear.
Valve technology and application settings should match the coating material. Spray, needle and other methods differ in how they handle narrow spaces, edges and larger surfaces. Board positioning, component height and accessibility influence the path and the need for multiple application passes.
A system should be evaluated using representative PCB designs rather than nominal speed alone. Programming, material changeovers, valve cleaning and masking affect practical output. Integration with curing and inspection can help maintain a controlled sequence from application to final checking. Material handling and the surrounding extraction arrangements should be reviewed alongside the equipment.
Sinerji offers conformal coating systems for PCB production. Our team can help you find application equipment suited to your coating chemistry, assembly layout and production volume.
